character analysis

Anne Frank:
I chose Anne Frank because she is a curious young teenager. Anne Frank was a young Jewish teenager who lived and died during the Holocaust. The family hid from the Nazis for two years in a secret Annex at the back of a warehouse. During all those times when she was hiding, she kept a diary about the problems and horrible things that was going on. She received a diary for her 13th birthday. She was born in June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. She is the second daughter of Otto Frank and Edith Hollander Frank. In March 1933, Adolf Hitler's Nazi party was elected in Frankfurt. Well, this character is involved in the story because the whole scene is about her point of view. Her thoughts and feelings in the attic are always bored and sad. The reason why is because she wants to have fun but, she can't have fun because she wants to be with her friends and be back to the normal days. Her relation with the other characters is different. The relationship that Anne and Mr. Frank had was that they really liked each other. They would always be together and they would talk about things they want to share. The relationship that Anne and Mr. Van Daan have is that they don't like each other. They are always getting in to arguments and conflicts. She is always commenting about the things that he does. The relationship that Anne and Mrs. Frank have is that Anne doesn't pay attention to her mother. She made her mother cried because when she had a nightmare, she only wanted her father not mother. The relationship that Anne and Dussel is that he gets really mad when she always get a nightmare and wakes him up during his good dreams. The relationship that Anne and Peter is that they both sometimes get mad at each other and sometimes they are happy. When Anne hides his shoes under the table or when she sneaks them behind her, then that’s when Peter doesn’t like her and gets mad at her. The relationship that Anne and Margot have is that they mostly don’t talk at all. They are so different from both characters because Anne is curious and a little crazy and Margot is calm and patient. The relationship that Anne and Mrs. Van Daan have is that Anne is very different to her then the other people in the attic with her. It looks like Mrs. Van Daan and Anne have the same feeling and that they can share their problems together. I mean Anne was very nice and thoughtful because she gave everybody a present for Hanukah. Anne and the whole “family” get along very well but sometimes they don't, and when they are in a sad mood well, they get a weird feeling inside them.
